The process of filing the cases of thugging in name of quake victims is set up by the District Administration Office, Kathmandu. The relief funds of Rs. 15, 000 was declared for every family triggered by the earthquake as compensation. But most of the victims of the quake have not yet received the amount. In addition to that, the execution of monitoring genuine quake victims in the government level could not be started which provided chance to the unauthentic groups. According to the Chief District Officer, Ek Narayan Aryal, the process of punishing such bogus people family is continued. He added, "The process will be even continued after 25 years." Around 30% of the applicants have made false statements about the need of relief funds. Around 34, 651 people in Kathmandu, the Government has offered an amount of Rs. 51, 97, 65, 000."
