The four major political parties signed in the six states marking the federal units on Saturday. It has to be the time of celebration but the whole nation is agitating over the government’s decision of demarcation on six federal states. Due to the demarcation of the states, the western parts of the country remained affected from since a week. Due to the strike in Nawalparasi various places are affected. The transportation, markets and even the education institutions are also forced to shut down. The enforced shutdown has triggered the lives of most of the people in Parasi. After the revelation of the demarcation of 6 Pradesh model, most of the locals in Nawalparasi, Rukum and Baglung have agitated for the splits made in three districts. The protesters in Nawalparasi demanded to withdraw the model of 6 pradesh. In the same, the issues of Tharuhat too added difficulties to the locals. The strike and protests in Nawalparasi was called by the local level for the district was divided into two different states.
