Rain-triggered landslide swept away the portion of land and even collapsed the wall in Kalanki. The heavy downpour on Saturday night has triggered the mudslip that affected the three houses nearby the incident. Heavy crowds have assembled to observe the perilous state of Kalanki. The landslide is triggered by the following rainfall and frequent aftershocks. However the landslide occurred on Sunday at 5 pm. The temblors of April 25, 2015 and consecutive aftershocks made most of the parts of land are fragile and cracked. Due to the quake and the heavy downpour, the fragile land added the threat of landslide. One of the observers, Uddhab Khadka informed that the mudslip started from Sunday evening. No casualties have been reported. Three houses are at the risk of landslide. According to Khadka, the fence collapsed by the landslide will be constructed by the owners of house.
