Due to the strike in Nawalparasi various places are affected. The transportation, markets and even the education institutions are also forced to shut down. The enforced shutdown has triggered the lives of most of the people in Parasi. After the revelation of the demarcation of 6 Pradesh model, most of the locals in Nawalparasi, Rukum and Baglung have agitated for the splits made in three districts. The protesters in Nawalparasi demanded to withdraw the model of 6 pradesh. They even have issued the memorandum, demanding for the inclusion of Nawalparasi into one federal unit. In the same, the protesters have also torched two bikes in agitation. President of Struggle Committee, Nawalparasi, Ram Bhawan Yadav said that the protest will be continued till Nawalparasi is not declared the integrated unit.
