Dr. Govinda KC, Professor of orthopedics at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital has continued to stage fast-unto-death strike from since 10 days for the sixth time.
Medical students, supporting Dr. KCs hunger strike staged a protest program in Capital on Wednesday. The rally started from Maitighar- Mandala and reached to Baneshowr. The rally witnessed the attendance of medical students as well as students from other faculties.
Students participating in the rally displayed the placards showed their dissension, tying black cloths around their heads and hands. The students, wearing the T-shirt with KCs image pressurized the government to fulfill the demands of Dr. KC.
Students assembled in Baneshowr symbolically satire on the governments muteness over the follies in the medical sector. The health of prominent doctor who has been staging hunger strike is deteriorating. Photo and Video by Amrit Baniya
